good morning life...

Well, things seem to be Austentifying themselves in my life. I cannot say on their own, but certainly by a mixture of good effort on my part, motivation from family and friends, and prayers of those who pray (chiflín). Sure there are some unusual smaller molestias, but they really seem small when the basic needs of family, church, and industry begin to work out normally.

I could easily say, "Hey, I always knew they would work out," but I don't know that I did. At the very least I told myself everyday they would work out, even if sometimes, I would open my eyes in the morning and my raised heart rate didn't seem to believe it. I reaffirmed my good hopes it in my morning prayers: I know things can and will work out for the best.

Who Am I? Who is Jane?

I just took the which Jane Austen character Are You? and I got this result:

I am Anne Elliot!

Take the Quiz here!

Thanks to Michelle Moore's blog for the link.

Now, I don't know if it's a flattering thing to be considered Anne-like in this earth, but the options were kinda limited by the quiz: main characters only. If I could describe myself, and risking the appearance of pride, I think I am a mixture of:

Anne from Persuasion,
Mary Crawford from Mansfield Park,
Lucy Steele from Sense and Sensibility, and
Ann of Green Gables

I do think that Michelle Moore is quite like Elinor, and even if we put a hat on her and gave her a certain hairdo she'd likely resemble Emma Thompson!
'Til we meet!

"Fix You"

When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse

And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face
And I...

Tears stream down on your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I...

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
